I sit in front of a screen that is absurdly large. I could never write on a piece of paper this large… So why is my screen bigger than my torso?
My fingers are dancing across the keys as I try to express my fragmented thoughts in a vaguely coherent order. I’ve not done one of these Daily Prompts before. As I type, I’m still tossing up whether to post this or not. Is this the direction I want my blog to take? Am I simply bored and not ready to sleep?
Does that matter?
Wait. Was that still present tense?
Does that matter?
I think I will post this. Perhaps I will take it down tomorrow.

Thanks for stretching yourself into this prompt. From reading a number of today’s WP posts, I can say you are not the only one who felt challenged by writing in the present tense! I also like your stream of consciousness musing across the screen. Very freeing.
Hi Sarah, thanks!
I really enjoyed writing for this prompt. I’ll probably take up a few more of the daily ones now – it is good to be stretched 🙂
